Lake Mien, about 2000000
m2, are one of the oldest lakes in Sweden.
The lake developed from a meteorite impact before the ice time.
The lake is protected and the water is crystal clear. The deepest spot is 43 meter! Vulcano rock, ryolit, you can find on the shores. Ramsö, the island in the middle, is a reserve. |

Klasahall, the myth island with caves who has entrance under the waterlevel, is in the north of Lake
Mien. On one side of the island the rock steep (about 30 m) down into
the water But be careful! In the main cave 'Klasagubbe' rules. As a watchman at the entrance he has a big fish with a golden crown on his head! Klasahall is a favourite spot for a nice picnic! |
